What to Expect

What should I expect when I visit or attend WOHP? You and your family can expect a fun, relevant, genuine experience with the Lord and the great people who make up WOHP. Here are a few things you might want to know.

What will my first visit be like? Probably "not church as usual." Depending on your church or religious background or past experiences, we hope your visit to Word Of His Power will be a refreshing, God-filled experience. Consider joining us at one of our services. Its our desire to have you as our guest at one of our services. Come just as you are! We worship Jesus and preach the Word straight from the Bible. We hope you'll want to be a part of what's happening here after you experience it for yourself!

What is a weekend service like? The weekend services are fun, relevant and loaded with worship, the Word and the power of the Spirit. We like to use all kinds of creative arts and media to worship and teach the Word including: video, music, set designs, relevant Bible teaching and humor.

Where do I take my kids? Once you arrive, our GuestTeams will help you find the "Little Saints" Kids Church check-in area located at the Info Center in our main foyer. We try to make it easy and safe for both parents and kids. We have no doubt, once your kids arrive and get checked-in, they'll have a blast learning about Jesus! We feel that it's important for families to worship together, so Kids are dismissed for Kids Church immediately after the offering has been taken up.

Do you have anything for students? Absolutely. The Lord is doing something wonderful among our students - they are connecting with God in a real way and their lives are being changed. We offer Middle School and High School ministry during our midweek (Wednesday) services of our weekend services and College & Career Ministry once a month.
