It's time to testify!

After paying our income tax on tme, my husband and I received a re-assesment letter in the mail from Revenue Canada. It stated that my husband still had to pay over a 1000 dollars by June 7/2010. After leaving a message with our book-keeper, I immediately told my husband that we were going to watch our words over this situation. (Pastor Jay has taught us that we have what we say.) In my morrning devotions the next moring I read and prayed out Mark 11:23 and asked the Spirit of God to rest upon our book-keeper and all those in authority over this matter and that according to Luke 8:17, “Nothing would be hidden”. At church the Spirit of God spoke through Pastor Jay and he said that our voice is heard in the heavenlies. That caught my attention right there, so after that, no matter what I felt like, I would quote Psalm 115, Phil 4:19, Col 4:6 and James 1:17 out loud over and over and thank God that He was good to us in this matter. Whenever I faltered I would repent and re-start speaking the Word of God. It wasn’t easy but the choice was mine (either speak faith filled words or doubt). Again, the Spirit of God spoke through Pastor during service and He said, “It’s already won in the spriit realm. Spirituality is nothing but thinking and acting like God would on the matter. God has delievered us and all is well”. On May 28/2010 I was hanging clothes on the line and then came inside and started declaring John 16:13. I didn’t even finish when the phone rang - it was the book-keeper- he said that he had found the error and that the government made a mistake and had put 100% on my husband instead of the 50-50 split between us. “You don’t need to send them the cheque”. I immediately replied, “I won’t”. Glory to God! Thank you Jesus, I give You all the praise, glory and honor because Your hand has done this thing. All is Well --The Bowmans.

During an evening service at WOHP, after praise and worship, Pastor Sarah had a word of knowledge about someone suffering from pain in their right leg. When she said that, the pain in my right leg left immediately. Just before this happened, I was talking to the Lord about how I was to keep standing during praise and worship with this pain increasing. God answered me immediately. I am grateful to Pastor Sarah for being sensitive to the Holy Spirit. After that, however, I noticed that the blood flow in my leg was increasingly becoming more obstructed, especially in one main vein. The pain never returned but it became clear that I needed to take care of this. Finally, I had surgery done on this leg. Pastor Jay gave me this scripture verse in Romans to confess continually before and after the surgery, “the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in me and quickens my mortal body by His spirit that is living in me” (Rm 8:11). Not only did the surgery go smoothly but my recovery was quick without taking any pain killers! The specialist was amazed. An extra bonus was that my latest blood work done showed remarkably results. My regular physician’s remark was to keep on doing whatever it is I am doing. Praise Jesus! - Kate K.

For 25 - 30 years I was bothered with insomnia. No matter what I did I could not get to sleep. I tried Melatonin, chamomile tea, hot milk and even prescription sleeping pills. I prayed, read, emailed,did suduko's and word puzzles; still no sleep. In November, Pastor Jay was giving a teaching one night and for some reason in the middle of the teaching, he started to talk on people who couldn't sleep and after a short while he said "I don't know why I am talking of this as I didn't plan it. In this case someone here needed to hear it." Well I was listening and I claimed healing In the name of Jesus and for the next month or so I would tell myself out loud every night that I was healed from Insomnia. I have been sleeping the best sleep of my life ever since and should I wake for a bathroom break. I say out loud as I go " I will go back to sleep again and I will sleep divine sleep, in Jesus's name." I give the Glory to God, because I could not do it without Him. In the first week of February I put 2 dollars in the offering believing God to provide more seed to me since I was acting as a sower. I sowed that toonie as a tithe when I didn’t have the 20 dollars. After that I thanked God for the 20 dollars whenever it came to my mind. In that second week of February, I received 10 dollars as a gift from a relative. I praised God for this and thanked Him that the other 10 was on the way. Then the next night at youth group, Rebecca said that we should always be believing God for something and keep our faith activated. I took that Word and said “Praise God, I got half of the money yesterday and the other half is on the way, I’m staying in faith” to Hanna who was sitting beside me. After service, I was on my way out when someone called my name and wished me a happy birthday and gave me some money in my hand. I was excited and I thanked him throughly and went outside. When I opened my hand, there was 25 dollars staring back at me! Not only did God provide the twenty dollars but now I had an extra 15 to sow from! God is faithful and does provide seed for the sower! -Nola Thompson

When Word of His Power announced that we were moving to a new location. I was excited but also sad because we didn’t own a car and I realized that I would not have a way to get there. for all the services since I took the city bus. My son comforted me by saying that we could listen to the church’s radio program (at least this way, we could hear the message). When we tuned in and heard Rebecca’s voice announcing the program, we were so excited. It was so good to hear Pastor on the radio! Afterwards I had tears in my eyes because the church was in the same city I lived in and I couldn’t go! But then, I remembered to cast my cares on God, so instead of being sad, I confessed “Thank you Jesus, you are making a way for me to attend church.” I didn’t mention this to anyone. Soon after that, someone came over to my house and asked me if I needed a car. I didn’t expect this from them but they gave me and my family a car! Now I can come to all the services! For many years I suffered with unbearable pain in my knee. It seemed nothing could make it better- no medication, therapy-nothing. One Sunday morning, the Spirit of God moved in our church and Pastor Jay called out a healing lline. I went in this line, and when Pastors Jay and Sarah layed hands on me, a fire seemed to touch my knee and I heard the word, “healed”. I received my healing and the fire in my knee stayed on it. When I got up from the healing line, my knee was totally healed. I am now free from pain and that pain has never come back! Praise Jesus! - Rosalba M.

What a priviledge and a blessing it is to be a part of the wonderful Word of His Power family! Pastor Jay, Pastor Sarah and Rebecca have strengthened, loved and encourage me over the many years of coming to WOHP. As the awaited Word is peached and the worship is raised, I have grown in may relationship with my Heavenly Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Their love has always been readily available to help and pray with me regardless of the need at the moment. The powerful services and pre-service prayer times have always been a praise to our God and a strength to the people. I am so very thankful for all the Lord has done and will continue to do. There are so many praise reports I don’t know where to start. Well, when the kids were small Kloe and Paige were outside playing, I went inside just for a minute. Kloe came running in the house all in a panic, Paige got her fingers caught in the car door. When I got outside, Paige’s left hand was in the door, so she couldn’t open the door with her other hand if she tried. When I got the door open her fingers were flat. I have never seen anything like this before. I held her fingers in my hands, scared I didn’t know what to do, but you don’t show fear to children, so I said “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, I ask father that you heal Paiges fingers, take away all of her pain, and there is no scaring or bruising. In Jesus name I pray” I didn’t want to look but, I did, and they were healed! Not flat, no bruising, no scars, they were perfect!! Thank you Jesus Our fourth child was unexpected, so we needed a bigger vehicle. We didn’t want a van, so we prayed, and asked God for a white suburban that seats everyone. 6 months later Adam brought home a white suburban, fully loaded, seating for 8 for $500.00. God is Good! When we leave on Sunday Pastor Jay has re-charged us, we are on such a high. We feel that we can conquer the world and that nothing is impossible.The church has also helped our marriage. I am able to communicate so much better now, and we have become closer. Before we were friends, now we are best friends. Our prayer life is stronger, our marriage is stronger, and we always have more than enough in finances! Praise God! -Adam and Kara Knott

I give thanks to God for answering my prayers and creating a Rhema Church here in London Ontario! My life changed in the first 6 months after I started attending WOHP and I give God the glory for it! LaterI was so happy when I heard the news that I was going to be a grandmother of twins! However, 3 months in we found out that there was a problem with the pregnancy since one of the babies was taking in all the nutrition and thereby the 2nd baby was in danger. The doctors said that this was only unique to identical twins and not fraternal twins. Both of the umbilical cords shared the same placenta- from which nutrition is drawn through fibrous cords. With twin to twin transfusions, some of these thin fibres are continously joined from one cord to the other- resulting in a situation similar to 2 people using the same straw. The doctors said this was what was happening with these 2 babies. One was getting all the food leaving the other with nothing-he said in this case one baby would die and the other would be large. Because of the twin to twin transfusion, the mother had to get weekly ultra sounds at Mt. Sinai (in Toronto) a hospital which specialized in high risk multiple birth pregnancies. The doctors at Mt. Sinai said that there were only 2 methods to correct this: to either withdraw the ambiotic fluid from the bigger twin to the smaller one or to do a laser surgery in the belly. The only problem with these options was that both came with the high risk of leaving the twins with multiple sclerosis or mental retradation. I told the doctor that we go to a word of faith church in London and that we will pray and Jesus will heal these twins. I came and spoke to Pastors Jay and Sarah who agreed with me in prayer and stood in faith with me concerning this matter. Every week the ultra sound was taken and it continued to show no change. Pastor encouraged me to keep believing and confessing that the twins are healed. Then on the 1st friday of the 4th month, another ultra sound was taken. The doctors expected the same results- However- this time, the ultra sound showed 2 full sized babies developing normally with 2 full water sacs! The doctors and specialists could not believe it and told me that they were the only clinic in all of Canada that dealt with high risk mulitiple birth pregnancies and such cases never heal on their own! I calmly reminded him that I had said that Jesus would heal these babies. That’s exactly what Jesus did! The twins were born full term and healthy! God honours faith and answers prayers! --N. Williams
